EMS-POWER operates at the heart of the Bao'an Power Electronics Cluster in Shenzhen, China — a concentrated ecosystem responsible for over 70% of the world's consumer power adapters and chargers. Within a 5-kilometer radius, you will find everything: GaN IC fabs, transformer winders, injection molding shops, PCB fabricators, and certification labs.

We started in 2005 with a single SMT line making 5W phone chargers. Today we run 8 fully automated SMT lines, employ over 200 people, and ship to brands across North America, Europe, Japan, and Southeast Asia. The same engineers who once reverse-engineered Nokia chargers now design 240W GaN PD 3.1 EPR systems.

Every component in our supply chain comes from within the cluster. No trans-Pacific shipping delays for critical ICs. No 12-week lead times on custom magnetics. When you manufacture in the Bao'an cluster, you operate at the speed of Shenzhen.

Two Decades of Power

2005

Founded in Bao'an District, Shenzhen. Started with one SMT line producing 5W Nokia-compatible phone chargers for the domestic Chinese market.

2008

Expanded to 3 SMT lines. First export orders to Southeast Asia. Began manufacturing USB wall adapters for the emerging smartphone accessory market.

2011

Opened in-house injection molding shop. Achieved ISO 9001 certification. Started OEM partnerships with European accessory brands.

2014

Launched Quick Charge 2.0 compatible adapters. Expanded testing lab with programmable loads and thermal imaging. First US brand OEM contract.

2017

Introduced USB-C PD chargers. Invested in GaN power IC evaluation and prototyping. Reached 3 million units annual output.

2020

Launched full GaN charger product line (30W-100W). Built EMI/EMC pre-compliance chamber. Expanded to 6 SMT lines and 150+ employees.

2023

Released 240W PD 3.1 EPR GaN charger — the maximum the standard allows. Added 2 more SMT lines, reaching 8 total. Crossed 5 million units per year.

2026

Expanding into the next generation: multi-port intelligent power distribution, GaN-based desktop power stations, and wireless charging integration. 200+ employees and growing.
